There is suffering in the world

Without you there is a case to be made

To shed our attachments and associations

With desire

To clarify the fetid airs that stifle absolute love

There is a sadness in the clouds

Constantly in transition from one beautiful

State to another

For with each new billowing work of art

We lose the last

You and I are like the clouds

We feel the anguish of alteration

Though we flow seamlessly from one

Soothing apparition to the next

At once I desire what I had

And what I have now and will have soon

And lament the violation of expectation
