Ben Unglesbee started writing fiction seriously in high school. Following several years working as a video store clerk, janitor, waiter and busboy, he attended the University of Kansas, where he majored in economics and creative writing, and wrote a humor column for the college paper. After earning a master's at the Missouri School of Journalism, he interned at the Kansas City Star as a business reporter. He's since worked as a reporter for the Lawrence Journal-World, the St. Louis Business Journal and The Capitol Forum. His newspaper stories have won awards from the Kansas Press Association, the Missouri Press Association and the Kansas City Press Club. He currently lives in the Washington D.C. Area with his wife, an agriculture reporter, and his son.
