Tea Alone in Lan Su Yuan

Shifting greys drift and swirl while haunting tones abide
Jasmine scents waft chimera born, greens flank every side
No blossoms grace, leaves in dormant browns bend rain
From dark skies the weather feeds with constant strain
An oasis isolation rich in life mocks lonely eyes
Ensconced in bamboo, cedar, glass and stone,
Thoughts of you escape alone
My lips on porcelain burn, bittersweet and yearn for you
Distorted time suspended here, feelings freed transcend this zone
These aromas shared by one, stir thoughts beyond and wide
They wander absent, knowing you should be by my side.
