by Kevin R. Nelson
Kevin Nelson has worked in the health care sector as a quality improvement manager, educator, regulator, consultant, and clinical dietitian. He has a B.A. in political science and an M.S. in human nutrition. Mid-career he undertook Ph. D studies in environmental studies until he recognized that the specialization and narrow focus in academia was contrary to his love of ideas, theory and obtaining a “big-picture” perspective.
Kevin Nelson’s writing is focused on understanding the roots of injustice and suggesting relevant and viable solutions. An intense and prolonged program of self-study in philosophy, cognitive neuroscience, social psychology, anthropology, and history has led Kevin to a unique hypothesis tracing back the failure of Homo sapiens to ten thousand years ago.
Mr. Nelson unveils his theories about human nature and behavior over the course of our species’ existence through readings and lectures and through social media.
A simple philosophy to reorient us to our surroundings.
